Travel time to Roxas City, the main gateway to the Province of Capiz, is 45 minutes by plane (2 flights daily) around 16 hours by boat, and 14 hours by Ro-Ro (Roll-on-Roll-off) buses from Manila. It is approximately 2 hours drive by bus from Iloilo City and 4 hours from Catiklan, Malay, Aklan. Taxis, buses, jeepneys, public utility vans (PUV’s) ply the main streets and smaller roads between the different towns in Capiz. The province has a well-developed system of road networks connecting to highways. It is easy to get around the different towns as well as to nearby provinces in the Panay Island. Capiz is composed of 16 municipalities, 1 chartered city (Roxas City) and 472 barangays. Its capital, Roxas City, is the seat of the provincial and city governments and center of trade. Capiz' topography varies from rolling lands and hills to mountain peaks and ranges. Entrancing Capiz was divided into two (2) districts:

apiz is located in the Western Visayas region, at the northeastern portion of the Panay Island, bordering Aklan and Antique to the west, and Iloilo to the south. Capiz faces the Sibuyan Sea to the north.
