ROXAS CITY, CAPIZ â A sub-branch of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in Capiz was formally opened last Feb. 10 at the Provincial Capitol building here. The sub-branch will be a full service office that will initially cater to Capiceños and Aklanons, said PCSO Director Francisco Joaquin III during a press conference at the Capiz Provincial Health Office (PHO). âBut will start out small to see how it works out. When people know that we are here, they will come,â he added. A PCSO employee will man the sub-branch. The opening ceremony of the new PCSO service office was led by Joaquin, Capiz Gov. Victor A. Tanco Sr. and PCSO as well as provincial government officials and employees, among others. Joaquin also turned over a PCSO mobile clinic at the Provincial Capitol ground to the provincial government prior to the opening of the new sub-branch.  âWith the mobile clinic, Capiceños in far flung areas can even be reached by the services offered by the mobile,â Tanco said during the turn over ceremony. He added that the clinic and the office reflect the value of health and Capiceños as he assured to uphold the mission and vision of PCSO. The PCSO sub-branch will be temporarily stationed at the Provincial Capitol because it will be transferred to the Government and Business Center (GBC) along Fuentes Drive here when the one-stop shop building has opened for occupancy.
