The 3 basic services provided by the center are plotting of map, digitizing and conduct of GPS survey. Plotting of map involves printing of maps in varying sizes or architectural and engineering plans. Digitizing involves conversion of analog data to digital format while the conduct of GPS involves the conduct of field survey using the Global Positioning System (GPS), transfer of GPS data to computers, doing differential corrections, converting them into appropriate data files and storing them under appropriate software.

1. Plotting – Plotting of line/text maps and polyshaded maps shall have a different rate.

For line/text maps the rate shall be 22 centavos per square inch plus a 15% add on cost gives us the selling price as illustrated by the table below;

(b) Applying the second assumption on different polyshaded map sizes, the price would be 50% higher than that of a line/text maps plus a 15% add-on cost gives us the selling price as illustrated by the table below:

(c) Architectural and engineering plans shall follow the same rate. For structural, sanitary, architectural, mechanical and electrical sheets, the rate for line/text maps shall apply. For perspective, the rates for polyshaded maps shall apply.

(d) A five percent (5%) discount shall be provided for students.

2. Digitizing- The rate for digitizing shall be P 1.57 per minute or P 93.98 per hour plus an add-on cost of 15 percent (15%)

(a) A five percent (5%) discount shall be provided for students.

3. GPS Survey – Rates for GPS road network survey and for identifying point coordinates shall be determined through the actual cost plus and add-on cost of 10% with reference to the formula:

Summary:

Cost of transportation	: Vehicle rental + diesel/gasoline per day
Cost of manpower	: Rate of Survey Adminstration + Driver + per diems
Cost of depreciation	: P 559.65/day
Data processing	: Daily rate of Geographic File Administrator + P 1,500
TOTAL	= Amount per day
Or	Amount per day / 8 hrs. = Amount per hour

4. GPS Base files – fixed payment for the GPS base files taken from the reference station shall be One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P 1,500.00) per day.

5. Developing GIS applications – rates for developing GIS applications shall be governed by a contract of services with a proposal containing the detailed computation of its cost.

6. For the rates of other services rendered by Capiz GIS Center not expressly provided in the ordinance shall be charged based on "quantum merit" basis.
